Dear @AndrewScheer & good folks at @Cpc_hq - Your candidate in Burnaby North Seymour is distributing a Meme on social media with my face and the words "Vote Conservative" indicating it is a quote from me. Not true. All fake. Please Stop. #WhoAreThesePeople? #Cdnpoli #yuck Retweeted by Fiera Biological

People! PEOPLE!! Look what I just saw RIGHT THERE! That’s a fisher (Pekania pennanti). I have never seen one with my actual eyes. 👀 Only 1 glimpse on a trail cam. pic.twitter.com/uyTVvkyc5G Retweeted by Fiera Biological

Breeding Bird Surveys

We know birds. Our field staff have decades of experience identifying Alberta’s bird species by sight, sound, and behaviour. We have conducted breeding bird surveys in all areas of the province, and are experienced in numerous survey methods including Point Count Surveys, Spot Mapping, Broadcast (or Call Playback) surveys, Migration Surveys, and Nocturnal and Diurnal Owl Surveys. While we generally conduct visual and auditory breeding bird surveys for most of our projects, our staff also have experience using remote bird monitoring techniques, such as using a drone to survey waterbird colonies, or using Autonomous Recording Units (ARUs) to sample birds in more remote locations.
